Growth Marketing Pro, a hyper-growth 🚀 SEO + growth agency is looking to hire an SEO Director to own and scale our SEO services.

Growth Marketing Pro began as a leading marketing blog and has since turned into a marketing agency working with 20+ technology businesses. At Growth Marketing Pro you will not work on lame businesses! You’ll cut your teeth with CEOs and Heads of Marketing at venture-backed businesses, learn cutting-edge marketing tactics, and swap notes with Silicon Valley leaders.

We’ve been growing like crazy and are looking to bring on a proven rockstar to help take our agency to the next level. This is an opportunity to help build an early-stage startup into an industry-leading growth marketing company.

What you’ll do:

You will own GMP’s SEO services end-to-end, owning the strategy and execution of client SEO engagements as well as continuously improving GMP’s internal playbooks for SEO excellence. As an early hire, you will shape the way we deliver and scale SEO services to a growing and diverse set of clients.

You’ll be accountable for:

• Developing and executing SEO and content campaigns for our clients:
  • Discover technical SEO issues, such as page speed improvements, site architecture changes, and crawling/indexing issues
  • Perform weekly analysis with Google Search Console and other tools to track and monitor changes
  • Rigorously manage client deliverables and milestones
  • Recommend and implement A/B tests and similar experiments
  • Deeply understand the client’s goals for their website, then create a strategy to achieve those goals
  • Communicate proactively and effectively with clients + internal team
• Managing a team of SEOs and content creators. As a player-coach, you’ll build and coach a high-performing team of SEO analysts, writers, and coordinators
• Continuously improving GMP’s SEO playbooks and the way we deliver SEO services to clients
• Delivering WOW experiences for clients and referenceable results

Lastly - because we are a small company, you will also partner with leadership in areas outside your immediate domain to tackle new opportunities and challenges to improve the business as they arise.
